7 Weeks Old 2021 Spring/Summer Litter

The puppies are getting big so fast! They are definitely on the go now. Running all over and enjoying life to the fullest. They eat solid puppy food, but we still do wet it some just to make it easier to eat. They got their first vaccines on Monday and did great! They were all a little more sleepy the next 24 hours or so as their little bodies started to build immunity, but they all did wonderful with the shots!❤ They have enjoyed the cooler weather this week and even got to experience a little bit of rain when they were out playing.❤ Such great learning experiences for them! we're getting a little sentimental with the fact that they will be leaving us this coming week!! ❤ Our hearts get a bit attached to these cuties!! But we are so very grateful for such wonderful families for them to be apart of!! ❤ Things for new owners to look into before your pup arrives home: * Make sure you have plenty of toys for the pup to chew on as your puppy teeths. Dobie puppies do best with ropes, tennis type dog balls and harder rubber balls. * Have a safe area for pup to be that is the right temperature and where the area is "puppy proof" (only approved puppy type toys, foods, etc.) * Have an apppointment with your vet to have puppy health checked and/or ear consultation appointment. * Ask me to send you a copy of the health contract to look over, if I haven't already sent it to you. I can't remember who all I've sent it to. But you don't need to sign it until you pick up the pup. * Have a potty training system set up for the puppy... whatever system you plan to use. treats, bells, litter box, etc. * Have a safe, happy sleeping area set up for the pup. Keep in mind they will be teething and chew alot. So, consider that when thinking about blankets, etc. in the crate/sleeping area. * The final payment can be paid with cash, money order, or Venmo. * The puppy care package will come with a health record, a copy of the signed contract, a toy with the mothers scent on it, and a bag with some puppy food. I'll post a picture of the puppy food we use. You are always welcome to change foods, if there is a different kind you prefer. Just remember to slowly change over food so you don't give the pup a tummy ache.
These pictures will be the last pictures posted on the blog of the pups that have sold. We will only be posting pictures of the other puppies that are still looking for homes next week.
